Our story
East Peak is a love letter to San Anselmo, shaped by the people who make this town feel like home and the natural beauty that surrounds us. Our shelves hold a considered assortment of homewares, pantry staples, books, and gifts, each chosen for its beauty, craftsmanship, and ability to bring delight to everyday life.
How we curate
We choose pieces made with care and meant to last — the kind of objects that become part of your home’s story. Many of our products come from makers that have perfected their craft over generations. But we also support smaller, newer artisans making beautiful and functional objects that spark joy and elevate the every day.
We’re committed to minimizing harm and maximizing positive impact wherever possible.
Commitment to community
East Peak General Store is proud to donate 2% of all sales (not profits) to grassroots, community-led organizations that are advancing justice, liberation, and abundance for all. At the end of each season, we will be making an unrestricted donation to a different organization in the region.
This spring, 2% of sales will go to Huukuiko, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the Indigenous spiritual practices, traditions, teachings, and culture of the Coast Miwok Tribe (the original caretakers of the land upon which East Peak General Store resides). Huukuiko was recently able to purchase 25.9 acres of ancestral land in Nicasio and are in the process of rematriating the land. It’s an honor to help support the rematriation process in some small way!
